Hey guys, I've been a member for a little while now, finally picked up my car in December and started modding immediately, cbe and drop in for now while I stockpile all the other stuff so I can throw it all on at once and tune.

All that to say, I love driving and working on cars, and would like to connect with you guys in the Atlanta area for advice, install days, or just to go catch some mountain driving. I've got a trip up to the Tail of the Dragon planned for April 4, let me know if anyone's down!

Hey man! Yeah...the Evo community is Georgia does not seem to be exactly the largest one around. I picked up my first Evo back in September and have yet to meet anyone here with one! I know there are a couple guys with CT9As I have briefly talked to on here, maybe we could try and get together for drinks or a drive (not in that order lol) sometime. I definitely would like to get to know some locals as well

Excellent. There's a knarly 8 or 9 I see on the way to work 1 or 2 times a week up here, heavily modded. Red with a carbon trunk I think...any idea who that is?

 

I live in the northeast area, around North Druid Hills/Decatur. I'm sure you aren't that far from me. I'm frequently around the Alpharetta/Cumming area as well since I have a good friend who runs a fabrication shop around there. And there's some guy who owns a red CT9A with like a full Voltex kit and stuff but he's a big show guy and that's not really my thing so I don't really know him. Not sure if that's him or not. He's part of Jade Crew or whatever if you know what that is.

I've been here since October. I think I've seen one other Evo and it had out of state plates lol. I'm in Woodstock but commute down to the Smyrna area. Came from an 86, and before that a WRX. I have to say I miss the tight knit community.

 

Yeah I had an 8th Gen Civic before the Evo and the community was actually really great until the last 2 or so years when things started going in the wrong direction. The Evo guys seem to be kinda loaners or just in groups with friends that have a bunch of different cars haha

 

Same as you guys, I was a Speed3 guy, and that forum was ridiculous. Hated everyone else, but loved each other ha. Well like I said, if you guys like to drive, I'm planning a drive up to the Tail of the Dragon April 4, love to have you guys. If not, we can grab lunch or something earlier than that.

I just picked up a cosmic blue 2014 also. Loving it sofar. I did a drop in and acessport OTS stage 1 tune but an aching to get more power out of it. I want to keep it reliable and comfortable to drive on the street... will probably do downpipe (AMS), hi flow cat and exhaust in the spring if I can wait that long. Which CBE did you go with? How do you like it?

Yeah I could go for a group name, or a link! Tomei is a good choice too - I have one on the way for my IX! I'm excited to see how it ends up sounding.
