Thinking about buying this 2003 Evo for 18000 I found. I'm a little skeptical about getting it cuz it has 93000 miles on it. Body,inside and engine looks clean. No major mods on it. Have not test drove it yet. I'm wondering if the turbo or clutch goes out or any problems start happening about 90000 miles on This car. Any opinion helps

 

got mine sitting on 111xxx miles right now.. still running strong.

 

I just bought another 8 back in August with 123k. Runs same as my other 8 with 70k If it checks out and if price is right, go for it.

 

price seems just a bit high for an 03 with that many miles.. I wouldnt pay more than 16.5 but that besides the point I guess. but as far as what you asked theres really know way of knowing how much life is left on certain parts not knowing when last changed.

 

I had 125,000 miles on my previous EVO VIII and was running 12's (12.2 to be exact!) down the 1/4 mile up here in Denver with it. If taken care of properly, the 4G63T is an awesome engine.
