Used injectors

Hey guys, i just bought a set of used ID1000 cc injectors. the injectors have about 8000 miles on them and i was planning on using them to go e85 here in the spring. They come with the PnP adapters, so would i be fine if i just replace them with my stock ones? Or would i have to clean them or something. thanks

i just bought a used set as well and my tuner had them flow tested and cleaned before installing and tuning. a retune is HIGHLY recommended because of the injector scaling.
save time and money now by getting them checked and cleaned.

There are some youtube videos on how to clean injectors. But I'm not sure how to do a flow test. I guess with some math you could calculate the throughput while cleaning them.

Pretty sure there is a company listed on this site that you can just send them to have them cleaned up good as new and tested and sent back to you!

Buy new inlet screens
Remove your existing inlet screens
Ultrasonic jewlery cleaner + Marvel Mystery Oil + 30 minute cycle with heat

*if you have a 12v battery and compressed air*

put 12v to the injector to open the coil
use compressed air on pintle to blow any internal contaminants out through the inlet

Install new inlet screens
