can the evo x be driven if the ayc / acd pump is damaged

Hey guys about a month ago I put on a set of swift sport spec r lowering springs on my evo x fq 300 sst. After the installation I noticed the sawc service required light came on. After doing various checks I realized that it was the ayc / acd pump that was damaged. It's going to take me while to get a new pump shipped to jamaica and since my evo is my dd I'm wondering if it would be safe to drive the car with the damaged pump until I get the new pump. Please I really need your help.

You will be fine. There's a lot of people that have driven with a broken pump and nothing has happened to them.

complained about it all of the time lol / there is now way to get it off unfortunately . I luckily put it off so long that the recall came out, so all is good now .

I'm just glad that their wont be any severe damage driving with the damaged pump. I'll hopefully get it sorted out in about a month or so.

yeah I think the only job of the pump is to move the hydraulic fluid around. The ACD won't work but you are fine driving as is. I guess it's like not having traction control from what I understand.

I was thinking that it was during the installation of the springs the mechanic damaged something. But the light came on two after, after i had gotten the car back from the car wash. How this got damaged is a mystery. But glad to know the evo can still be driven.
