Hi my name is Cory, and I just purchased a WW 2014 GSR. I do not see much of a Welcome section, so I figured the General area was OK for introduction. I live in Florida, and would like some advise on tuners in the area. I have a Cobb APV3 on it's way to me now with a Cobb intake (Looks more like a filter). I am coming from the MS3 platform, so I am familiar with using the Accessport, and mainly was using an e-tune with that car. Thank you in advance for all the help.

P.S. I know the Evo is a great handling car, but is there no interest in drag racing at the track? Most forums I frequent have a section for this. Am I missing said section?

 

congrats on the purchase most people like open source tuning instead of the accessport. the ap will do fine until you start doing more mods then it starts to get a little shaky. People do drag race, but the evo is meant for autox and time attack and all that stuff. with it being a heavy awd car, it puts a lot of pressure on the clutch when you launch it. the tranny is very good, but people have problems with the tcase as well.
