new here, need help.

So I sold my sti and got the evo x gsr about a week ago. It is at around 310-315 whp. I just dont know why its at 20 psi? Isnt that stock for evo? My friend has a stock one and the difference is by a lot. Is this normal or what?

Are you talking about it spiking at 20 or dropping down to 20 as you are pulling towards redline?

it's 21psi from factory...tapering down to about 19 after the initial boost spike...where are you getting the 310-315 #? if thats on a mustang you are probably around 27 and about 380 at the crank if taking about 18% drivetrain loss in to consideration.

When I go wot in first and second gear. It only goes up to 20 psi. Even the owner said it was pushing 20 psi. but i though that was over the stock for evo since I didn't really new how much they were pushing stock since my stock sti was pushing 14.5.. very strange..

The owner that I bought it from said it had around 315whp and pushing 20 psi. well my boost gauge shows 20 when at full throttle. Very strange.

Test the gauge, I have gone through two gauges in the past reading inaccurately.

This is most likely the problem, The reading between tuning (electronic monitoring of PSI) vs. my boost gauge is about 2.3 psi off
