tune and now problems

On Saturday I went to get my evo tuned and during the tune the car kept leaning out at high boost levels. The tuner ended up tuning the car at 15psi of boost so as to prevent the car from blowing up. When i spoke to the tuner he said that the car is leaning out because of a fuel pressure problem. About an hour after tune I was on my way home and about 50 miles into my journey I noticed that the check engine light came on. Spoke to the tuner he said he don't think its anything serious so i should disconnect my battery terminals and reset the cars ecu. when i did this the check engine light was cleared but about 30 more miles it came back on once again.

So my two questions are:
1. What would could be the cause of the car leaning out
2. What could be the cause of the check engine light.

Anybody can help I would really appreciate it.

My question is who tuned your car?

My other question is what modifications do you have?

If you can, return it to stock and put the stock tune on it. Then find a good tuner. Since you are in Jamaica, you may want to check into an e-tune where someone can help you remotely.

Check your fuel pump relay. Also check the hose on the fuel pressure regulator. Both are common issues which lean the car out.

We checked the hose and it was good. We have bought the fuse. So I'm waiting on the fuse to come to put it in. I'm also planning on changing the fuel pump as well and get the injectors cleaned as well.

Fuel pump should be replaced to the green one. Much better than the stock ones that were first issued (these were black depending on year). I had to swap mine out.
