MR manual mode shifting automatically

hey guys.

I know this issue has been posted somewhere... so i was driving home, and ive noticed that on the dash, the "D1 for auto and manual" was flickering, the same thing with the shifter, the lights between D and +/- was flickering back forth.. any ideas?

Take it back to Mitsu! It should be covered under warranty.

I have seen something like this before on youtube. Did you flash the ECU with a tune? Cobb AP OTS maybe..... if so uninstall and see if it goes away. I had an OTS map on my MR and i never got lights flickering but i has some shifting issues.... got a test tune from Cobb and problem fixed so far. If you car is BONE STOCK take it back to the dealer ASAP. could be a number of issues that i have seen on this forum from voltage issues to TCU issues.... either way the dealer will be able to help BUT make sure, if the car is flashed to return it to stock before you take it in...

Let us know what happens. Everyone posts about the issues however not everyone tells the end of the story..... Dont blame them... most likely out driving and not on here LOL.. GOOD LUCK!
