If you upgrade to an aftermarket hood or side vents, you will soon find yourself in the market of mesh. Even for a GSR with a cold air intake installed, you may find yourself looking for mesh to replace the solid plastic cover next to the driver side fog light.

Do you know any great mesh options for the Evo?

I have but only a little knowledge on this. First I'm sure you can buy Mitsubishi factory mesh. There are two colours. The 2008-2010 MR models' dark silver mesh and the rest Evo models' black mesh. The factory mesh is not cheap (http://www.mitsubishiparts.net/parts...iagram=6267010). It's about $100-$130 plus tax and shipping per small piece.

Second, AMS Performance also appears to have to source of an OEM-looking mesh (http://www.amsperformance.com/cart/A...te-Screen.html). Does anyone have this piece and how is the quality?

Third, you can get aftermarket mesh. I'm having a hard time to find a good source of high quality mesh. A almost-high quality source is Race Mesh (http://www.racemeshgrilles.com/). I saw some guys have it and it's reasonably good, although after a close look you can tell it is not as high quality as the OEM one.

 

These are what I have and love the look but depends if you don't or do want your fog lights.
