I am looking at importing a JDM Evo 10 GSR from japan , do you guys know if all EVO 10 use HID headlights ?? or is that a optional feature , I'd like to find one with HID already

 

All of them don't come with HIDs. It's an option that comes with the SSS package which gives you the bigger spoiler, HID, keyless entry and the upgraded sound system.

 

Ok , so does that mean if you see a evo with one of the high (big) spoiler , it will have HID and Rockford sound ? The SSS package , does it come in all 3 features ? Or can buyer get them individually ?

Cause I am importing a evo 10 my self and often on the auction sheet , if it has HID it will be on the auction sheet and if not I won't see it on auction sheet , so if it's not written down I can assume it doesn't have SSS package ??

 

I have the SSS package, but I was under impression all the GSR spoilers were the same, so that's interesting news.

I can't say what the JDM packages have. I wouldn't place any faith in the USDM vs JDM comparisons. You should be able to see the projectors in any pics of JDM cars you can see. The halogens do not have projectors.

 

Yeah I been looking at the JDM auction market , all the evo I have seen have the same big high spoiler , but not all of them write down HID feature on auction sheet , so can any one tell me ? Is the big spoiler for JDM a standard feature ? And does SSS package apply for JDM spec

 

So there is a way of telling by looking at the headlight to see if it has HID or not ? How ? Can you attach some picture so I can compare

cool ~ that clear things up , so come back to my other question , if the EVO has HID headlight , does it mean it has SSS package ? or can the SSS package be purchased individually , say if you want the HID only , or do you get all 3 package, spoiler , sight and sound , not that I dont want them

 

The new 2014s have the big wind standard. And its not the SSS Package anymore, they call it something else

The Fosgate is a stand-alone option, as is the leather interior and the aero. You'll need to rely on the seller's details about the car you're importing.
