I have an issue and I hope someone has a solution. The faceplate on the factory nav rattles insanely. Does anyone else have this issue? Has anyone fixed this?

 

Mine doesn't rattle at all. By faceplate I get you mean the non mechanical piece. I think it just pops in place. Broken clip?

 

Yeah that is a return to dealer issue, mine is rock solid.

My rattling noises come from the pillar area by the door.

 

I'm leaning towards broken clip as well.

I'd honestly suggest taking it off and taking a look at it. It really isn't hard. Prior to owning my Evo I've never done anything more than pump my own gas. Yet I swapped out the stock radio for the N05 within an hour of getting the keys(following guides on this site). Take a look something like this should be easy to tell after a visual inspection what's causing it.

 

...I say take it to the dealership; have them check it out.

 

Yes, demand the dealer look into it for this or any other rattles, shouldn't be happen on a new(ish) vehicle, my 08 rock solid still
