...I picked up a 15' Evo and I have to agree the seat are super comfortable. They'll never hold you in place going around a corner though...

For daily driving I don't mind the '15 seats since they're still full leather and heated, but I do a bit of autocrossing and lots of spirited driving...you know, driving these things how they're meant to be driven.

My "normal people" passengers who can't appreciate the Recaros like the Lancer seats in my '15 much more than the seats in my '14 MR.

But just to drive my point home on how much better the Recaros are, I picked up my [full leather, heated] Recaro from the interior repair shop yesterday. Bought it for $400 shipped, had it repaired for $267 and change, and now it's good as new. Going into my '15 this weekend. Turning my Lancer seat into a heated Forza chair

It all comes down to testing the seats... Like I said before, I couldn't ride in my buddy's 13 for long.. I see a lot of people here are 6+ft and 200+LB, i'm 5'8" 215 during the summer and 235 during the winter. I had no problem getting my *** in the seats with a 34" waist but my shoulders come in at 50" so I always had to side sideways a bit... Plus the 15s can move up and down so that helps us shorter people LOL.

i'm the same height but only 185 and my shoulders were squished. I could only imagine how tight the fit was for you.

The economy seats are terrible no matter how you split it. That's why other cars like the Mustang GT, Focus ST, STi all have similar seats to our stock Recaros. No matter how you slice it the 2015 Evos are more expensive than what a lot of people with 14 and older evos spent and you lost one of your biggest interior features. I'd be pissed.

I have the 2014. The seats are very comfortable even on long drives.

I would have bought the 14 if it wasn't for the crazy $3-5k markup on it when I bought earlier this year.

I'm honestly fine with my seats comfort wise but they definitely take away from the sport car feel. The seats are the only thing I don't like about my car.

Buys car for "performance and driving dynamics" but preferes NON-performance seats over performance seats....shrugs.

Drove 1600 miles in 2 days with my Recaros. I know not everyone shares the same body type, but at 190lbs, 5'10" I felt just fine, better in fact than alot of standard seats because they prevent slouching.

As someone on the smaller side of things I guess, I really dislike the seats in my '15. This is an EVO, I need something a little better than a sponge lol. If any recaro oem seats come up I might definitely have to look into it. If not, I'll just look into some aftermarket sparks or something

I was surprised by how many people have sat in my car for the first time and immediately commented on the seats (Recaros), they are definitely one of my favorite parts of the car
