Any 2015 owners?
Hello,
I have a 2015 MR and i like the seats. A few of my friends have 08-14s and the seats are great at holding you in place but im a former gymnast, US Marine tuner lifter/powerlifter and my shoulders at 50" and I can only last like 30 min max in their cars b/c of the seats I start to cramp up a bit/arms fall asleep. The 2015s also move up and down where theirs do not...
Here is the bottom line, the 2015s are not race seats and will never even come close to holding you the way the others do. however they are better for longer rides or bigger people. If you get a 2015 and want to change the seats you can, it will cost you about a grand or so to do it but it can and has been done.
Hope that helps, good luck!

I generally agree with EVOX84. I will say that when you see or sit in the Recaros, they do give you more of a "this car is special" feeling than the sport seats the 2015 model gets. My wife has a 2011 Ralliart with the same seats but in leather and I think the bolsters are tighter. Go to the dealer and have a seat and see what you think!
I have a 2014. And all my friends are bears lol. Recaros are not bear friendly lol. I havent sat in the 2015's but they look more comfortable than recaro seats. But then again evo aint meant for comfort lol
I had the opportunity to buy a 14 or 15 new on the lot. After driving both I went 15 because it was going to be a daily and as good as the recaros are for holding you in place, i knew for long drives and egress/ingress they would suck after a few months. Plus you can adjust the height on the 15's seats.
I really wish the steering wheel was telescoping. That's a biggest complaint i have on my 15.

I came from a 2012 MR and previous to that the 08 GSR ! I love the 2015 GSR WW premium pkg. seats were a very small part of the decision but they are for longer drives more comfortable . Enjoy

I traded my 2013 MR with a lil less than 12K miles so the Recaro Leather Seats were
fairly new.
Traded it for the 2015 MR for several reasons, the main one was to get the last year
Evo model.
The second reason was the seats. The Recaros are awesome seats but very hard to get in and out off.
The 2015 seats are so much easier to seat on and drive daily.
They don't hold you like Recaros but are acceptable and not bad looking.
Overall the Recaros are made better and are better for road racing.
The 2015 seats are made well and the seat is comfortable.
And no one ever mentions that they have air bags and headrests which increase
crash safety.
I like them. But they are not racing seats lol.

I'm not small at 6'1 and 210 lbs. The Recaros are very comfortable to me even after several hours of driving.
I hate the 2015 seats, and can't believe Mitsubishi couldn't find a workaround.

I have no problems with the 15 seats for 2 main reasons, I bought the car for the performance and driving dynamics not the seats, and having the new airbag system lowered my insurance...no joke I had a 2012 RA, and when I traded it in on the 15 evo, my insurance legit when down 40 dollars a month. (provided this is just a theory, but it kinda does make sense)
