Ams uicp issue

I have a password jdm front strut tower bar and the rear silicone section of the ams uicp presses up on the bar a tiny bit. Think im ok? Pipe too big defect? Swap back stock bar? Maybe i put it in wrong? What you guys think? Will post pic first thing tomorrow morning.

Is there a way you could slide the rubber section down further onto the compressor outlet pipe?

Give that a try and see that happens. If not you're honestly fine. The rubber tubing hitting the tower bar isn't going to hurt at all.

yeah, only thing it's pressing and not hitting. if it was just barely touching i know for sure i'm fine. more wondering if people had similar issue with ams uicp and stock tower bar.

yep - no problem because it is the silicone. You only need to worry about metal-to-metal contact (chaffing).

Maybe take a look again in a 5K miles for wear on the silicone hose.

Thanks for the input guys! I just shoved the middle pipe as much as i could in the couplers. Didn't clear the bar, but o well. I'm sure i'm fine. FYI for anyone getting a front strut tower bar, the stock one is arched a bit and PWJDM one is straight across.
