clip stuck

http://imgur.com/zW79Bf6

had someone put in an UCIP and had to remove the 2 clips in the picture. When I watched him remove it he simply unscrewed them and popped them off. When he put them back in he just pushed them back in. I tried to unscrew the earlier and the screw doesn't come up. How do i fix this/pop them off now?

Could be stripped. First thing to try, get a small pick and wedge it under the head of the screw part of the clip, and pry it up to apply pressure. While applying pressure, attempt to unscrew it. If all else fails, drill it out or cut it out, and replace clip.
Your installer messed up. You do not simply press those clips back in, you screw them.

Those clips are a PITA. try holding the base of the clip and unscrew it without putting any downward force onto the screw driver then it should catch

Try carefully wedge a flat head mini screw driver (those used for watches) or a piece of thin metal between the screw head and mounting surface and jack it slightly with one hand then back it out with a screw driver with the other hand, so you're turning the screw and pulling it at the same time forcing it to catch.

Thanks guys, didn't have one of those tiny screw drivers at my disposal, but i was able to pry the screw part out with a knife. Screwed them back in after.
