Advice on mishimoto radiator hose hookup or installing hoses

Hey guys, i am planning on getting the mishimoto radiator upper hoses for the car and i never installed any radiator hoses before. So my question was.. Do most of you drain the radiator fluid before installing these? Ir do you just put a rag or towel underneath the hoses you are going to disconnect and replace??

I only have the upper hoses so i wont be going under the car. I just need to know if it is possible or smart or easier to just leave the fluid in their while changing these upper hoses or should i actually drain the fluid? Thanks.

Well your going to lose some so be pre paired to replace it and your going to want a small oil change pan you can get from autozone because there will be a decent amount. Also prolly goes without saying but make sure the car is cooled off! And also you will have to bleed the system to get the air you introduced out.
