need help: dropped clips after removing faceplate and head unit

Hi guys

Is there anyway I am able to find and remove these clips i dropped from when temoving the faceplate and head unit? it fell right in and i really dont like those clops just moving around ik there. is there an easy way to get rid of them? maybe take out the side panels (not sure how) and fish them out or are they there forever?

Metal clips? Parts store or hardware store has a extendable rod with a magnet on the end

Plastic? Those side panels just pull back quite a way - enough to maybe get your (or lady-friend) hand in there...

No, I bet these are the monstrous little plastic jobs that clip on the back. They pop off and then fall into the abyss that is behind the dash where it meets the center console.

There is, unless you can see them and have a VERY long set of pliers or grabber things, no way to retrieve these hateful bits. You can get more from a Mitsu dealer or online.
