15' Evo X GSR Shift Knob Options
Alright, so I have been driving around my Evo for about 2 months now, and my only issue is with the notchy shifts from 1-2, and sometimes 2-3. I was doing some searching around and found that a heavier sift knob can make some, if not all, the notchiness go away.
I mean if I think about physically it makes sense, cause a heavier sfit knob would have more momentum when pushed with the same velocity, so it kinda makes sense, but I wanted to get feedback from those have switched to weighted knobs and feel the difference.
Also, on that same line, any suggestions on which knobs to go for? I obviously dont want anything uber expensive, and looks are not that high on the list either, i would prefer something affordable, and that makes a functional difference while shifting. Size wise, preferably bigger than the stock aluminum shift knob(I currently have that), a little higher up is fine.
Some of the names that have repeated been popping up are TMZ, greddy, ams to an extent.
What do you'll think?
Thanks for the help,cheers!

My setup is TWM short shifter with shifter base bushings, and the AMS delerin knob. The AMS knob isn't really weighted, a little under 200gms or about half a pound I think. Long story short I really like the way the car shifts. It requires heavy effort but feels very crisp and mechanical. Even stock though it was fine, maybe I just have low standards lol.
