Just sharing my own experience here. I have bought 2 cars that were salvage. Did not get a good experience with either. They weren't Evos but things were never the same after rebuild. I would recommend to do heavy good research on why it is salvage. If it is strictly cosmetic then maybe it is worth it. But even that sometimes there was something that broke in the suspension and it was never rebuilt properly (that happened to one of the ones I had). Good luck!

People are buying Evos with 170,000 miles for 15k?!?!?! WTF! or 107,000 miles for 20k? Are you serious? That's ridiculous!

Salvage

Maybe I was lucky. I bought an Evo IX with 22000 miles, rebuilt title and it has worked great. Now have 38500 miles with no issues. Great compression and drives straight. No suspension or engine issues.
