It's part of a time machine... you see, your evo is a time machine. You set the year you want to go and boom... you're evotimemachine will take there...

Should I be worried that I have something from Cobb on the car, since I thought it was stock. Hell the intake was news to me until today.

Makes me wonder what else was done and returned to stock.

Don't worry just yet. Contact whoever sold you this car and ask about the history of it.

Depending where you live, find a shop, preferably a shop that specializes on evos, and ask them to check it out.

Other than that, I would just check if maintenance was done and ya-da ya-da ya-da...

Your evo is not stock and never was. it was returned to stock. You can tell by all the clamps as well. Go to a dealer and look at the position of the clamps and then go back to yours.. you will see. I wanna say AEM intake...

Well, a straight answer for your question..., the COBB thing is a selenoid boost controller, looks like your car is running more boost than stock, for whatever reason (reflash tuned..!!) .. and , you have the K&N intake and filter, also the K&N upper intercooler pipe.

If you car still pulling hard after 5000 rpm till 7000 rpm, for sure it was tuned and for sure it is running more boost than stock.

Attached is a pic of the stock air box and upper IC pipe.

The stuff you have done to your car is pretty typical to find on almost any evo. With what is has on it (assuming that those things are only only modified things), You'll be fine.

What you absolutely need to do:

Your car IS modified. If the dealer/previous owner FLASHED the car BACK to stock you NEED to get the car re-tuned otherwise it will run like ****.

If your in OH, stop by buschur or any other local reputable shop and they will tune it for around 500$.

Yep, k&n filter and pipe and Cobb 3 port. That either means that it was protuned or he ran an ots map. Either way it needs to be retuned asap if he "returned it to stock" lol
