I wish I knew about the differences prior to purchasing my US version (I had done 0 research, and it was a very sudden purchase).
Out of curiosity, do you know how much the "import tax" would be on one? (I really hope it's a lot, so I can stop wishing I did that lol)

I figured it would be a good time to post a couple more pictures after having the car for a little over a month.
I went to Cars and Coffee in Cincinnati this morning. Met up with a couple local evo owners and saw a ton of other nice rides. Plenty of STIs and BMWs, a GTR, some old Minis. It was cool. Here's the car toward the end of the gathering.
Also, I figured it was a good time to post up a picture of little and big brother cars. My old GST, that's still running pretty good, next to the new FE.

Ha I saw 2 dealerships same owner diffrent names all of a sudden pull 15 Finals off there websites. I was like no they didnt sell them no way. Stopped by one of there lots, and there all parked out back and sold written on the windows along with 10 other cars.
Asked the lot kid these all dealer trades hes Yup, all headed to california. That leaves zero Finals on there lots, and 12 regular EVO's.
Should have put Recaros in them Mitsu.

I seriously doubt that's just because of the Recaros, or they'd be sending back all the 15 regular Evos. My guess is some dealers in California are stockpiling the FEs, either because they are speculating or because they are getting away with mark ups. (From what I recall, there is a dealer in Southern Cali who still has a bunch of brand new 2010 SEs stockpiled).

The Canadian FE is essentially the JDM left hand driver version. We get this odd concoction for obvious reasons to make it cost effective. Enkeis are cheaper to make.
The FE in Japan is a GSR with MR suspension, red stitched Recaros and other minor cosmetic stuff. Watch the vid.

On top of that, they just got in 5 more Evos the other day, so we currently have 6 new 2015's, a used 2014 with 30k miles on it, and a FE.
My guess is that the 2014 sells fairly soon, but the others just don't seem to be moving.
I was talking to a friend that works there, and he said that he almost sold the FE a couple weeks ago, until the person saw the seats. I'm not sure if that's why the 2015's aren't moving, but I was surprised when they ordered more.
