played out visually but 3-4 pounds lighter rotational mass per corner is never played out if you drive it.

Nope and nope. I just want wheels that are going to stand out. My S2K is beautiful as is. AND it sounds sexy with the Nvidia N1 with test pipe and DC header. But after Import Alliance Summer this year, making it into showcase, but yet 13/15 S2K's were on RPF1's, and no one bothered to take a pic of 'just another S2K on RPF1's' I took the only pic of my car. LOL. Dont care what you say, you dont get your car ready and go through all of that to get no love. With just this change of wheels, car will be on radar.




TE's are a different level of wheel. You can still get different current models, and not everyone and their grandma has them.

So you want to put wacky wheels to get love? Build it for you, fxck what everyone else thinks. My Evo is pretty modified and crazy colorful. My wheels are candy green/teal. A few shows I went to I didn't get any LOVE but that's because I didn't have fender to lip or -10+ camber. But at the end of the day I love how my car looks and what I've done to it.

As far as the troll question....You have what looks to be good taste. The prelude and s2k both look to be very cleanly built. But to ditch sbc RPF's that go ohhh so well with the bluish silver body to some crazy PIAA wheels painted in completely opposite colors??? It just doesn't make sense to me, that's all.

 

It's not completely for that reason. I defintely want something that stands out. Prelude had everything done to it possible except turbo. It stood out, because RHD, Volks, Recaros, ect, and non OEM paint. Obviously there was no hella flush 10+ lip, but it had those other things. This S2K, while I love the way it flows together, it's just a bit plain. And I dont plan on RHD swappin it LOL.

And I'll probably end up keeping the RPF1's because they are staggered and +45, which means ONLY an S2K or FD owner who isnt looking to go toiletflush is going to want them, makes them a hard sell. Class or brash.

 

if you want to stand out at carmeats, sell everything and get Godzilla...

 

**** a GTR. It's butt ugly and auto. It's a car that does nothing for me; looks, sound. If they had put that car in the body of a G37 and gave it a manual, I'd actually have one. Infact, my choices for this purchase were Evo X or G37S. Based on being the only 2 up-to-date Japanese cars I like the looks of. G37 looks a bit better... but Evo speed potential.

And of course being in the US can now finally get R32's.... which I could have gotten. But I'm not paying ricer tax on that ****. Cars worth like 4K over there, not paying a dime more.

 

ha drifter trashed S13 or even bone stock auto cost more than 4k here. Iduno what the 32 would be. Saw a sweet one at the car meet earlier and yes it was on RPF1s LOL

By the way, that lip/**** on the Prelude could fit an entire Mexican family picnic on it. It reminds me of the Pontiac G6 wing which was horrendous.

I mean in Japan. Any of the old cars are worth peanuts over there, but yet people want $15K+ for them over here. A GTR that is below legal US import age sits there worth a few grand, as soon as its old enough it's value is 3-4x.
