Quote: "Exclusive performance car", LOL. The Evolution X is a solid performance car. Nothing really exclusive about it anymore though.I like it because it has a good AWD system, power increases can be attained quickly and cheaply, and decent resell value. I know that to some people it's a "dream car" but if that's how you feel then you really need to dream bigger 👍
I'll pass. I run with NASA and have driven some pretty awesome cars. I'll keep my Evo and continue to humiliate the cars costing 10x as much.

Try to tone down the dickface in your posting, I'm not the one wringing his widdle hands over $1500 bucks like it's some huge sum of money. And I would take this car over 99% of cars out there based on my experience with a myriad of cars and this being the most driver oriented car of the bunch.

I was merely saying it is an exclusive car to Mitsubishi, their flagship car, and it is the last year of it so no they are not going to deal on it like it's a Camry, mr 'I live and die over 1500 measly dollars derp derp'

And you have no ****ing idea what car history I have, believe me it is extensive and with many cars that appear 'better' or cost more than this car, however this car is more entertaining than any car I've had before.

Way to be a complete cockwad to people just trying to help you. Hopefully you don't get the EVO because we don't need another one owned by a douchebag.

It literally never fails. Anytime you try and be nice or decent to someone from NY they turn out to be the stereotypical cockmunching assmangling ****tard that is the quintessential New Yorker. I don't doubt you wouldn't want to buy used in that market full of people trying to **** each other over at ever turn like it's a ****ing sport.

Happy trails ****face, and please please don't buy the EVO I'm sure you can get mad tyte deals on some other brotato approved car. Go over to the Subaru crowd I'm sure you can shellack your hair and spray tan yourself into a sweet car club filled with flatbrimmed dickwads of your caliber.

Got my 2015 GSR, no options, for $32k at the beginning of November. I left $1K on the table, but I wanted the deal done.

In the area around me most of the 2015s have been sold from when I bought the car. My idea was they were trying to get rid of stock to clear the decks for the Final Editions coming in.

Quote: I have been in the market for about 3 months and thus far the best price I have been able to negotiate is $32,500 for a car that has a $35,350 MSRP. My trigger number is $31,000 which is not based off any factual findings. I am wondering if the final editions will put more pressure on dealers to sell out their base GSR inventory? Any valuable input would be appreciated.
I think that selling pressure time has passed.

Typical Brooklyn tough guy. Don't even bother responding to him.

Around me in Florida the only evos left in a 200 miles radius are all marked up now. You probably have a great deal on the table. Just an experience of mine....I saw one listed for 32k on autotrader. Called on it and asked about the price. Sure thing they said. Drove down to see it...turns out to get the 32k it included 2 rebates that were not available to me. Military and lease loyalty. Was like a 1500 difference if I remember. I walked on that one. He actually said, "dude these are the last ones we are not going to give them away." And this was at a time when they had more than 20 in stock! I still never ended up getting under 32k but decided who cares because I either buy it or it's too late.

If you can wait until the Focus RS comes out, I bet they'll be dealing again.

There aren't anymore coming. I can't see them being more flexible as time goes on.

Why would that be?

To the OP, you really don't seem to want the car enough, or else you'd do the research, use some logic, and come to the conclusion that $32k is a very very good price. I base that on your statement that you have no particular reason or research to expect $31k, which is why you don't have an Evo... In any case, its the good old supply and demand. There are no more produced, Mitsu dealers have no reason to give them away. Matter of fact, Paramus Mitsubishi is charging $5k over sticker on Final Edition cars... Naturally, I didn't get mine there, but you get the point.

Yep. Bought my last two Evos from them, and they were pretty good to deal with, but on these Final Edition Cars they are getting the money and although I'm not willing to pay what they want, I do understand as it is a business.

They have had so much change in management. Hard to keep up. I just checked their website, only shows 2 new Evo's.
