It sounds like any other single exhaust, lol...


A little late in the game for them too.

 

This is my problem with AMS. I want to like them but WHY would anyone pay 1300 for this over the 950 Tomei that still weighs less?
Quality claims are a wash here.

 

Good point, and looking at there site it looks just like stainless steel version. They could of at least burnt the muffler tip blue lol

 

Technically they weight about the same (~9.7lbs Tomei to 10lbs AMS).

The only thing I like about it is that it doesn't neck down a quarter inch at the flanges like my Tomei does.

Some people don't like the burnt can look, so they might prefer the AMS system.

Worth an extra $300+? To me, absolutely not lol.

 

I hate that style of muffler. Fart can.

 

I think the AMS looks like......well a ticket frankly.


I'm not a fan of single exit exhaust but, I think the tomei seems to fit better and doesn't look so out there, if it wasn't for the blu tip I think it would be pretty stealthy.


I sand blast and ceramic coat all my exhausts black anyway.

I will sell you mine at a smoking deal for $3500. Where did you get this whacked out info from? It's already on their website and its $1300.
