New Evo Owner

Just picked up my 2014 GSR. Pretty happy with it and i am starting to slowly mod it. Made a big change coming from the Subaru side. My car is stock right now, until i can get a tune and put everything on it.

Got a STM bellmouth Intake and UR single exit exhaust.

Welcome! I would suggest a Grimmspeed 3 port bcs as this will give your tuner much more flexibility in shaping your boost curve with your intake and exhaust.

My next plans are

-3 port
-test pipe
-ic piping
-walboro
-down pipe ive been debating on. i would like to get a mhi 18, but im not sure if thats what i want yet. I would like to have id1000's and just upgrade the fuel, so i dont have to worry about not needing more. its new, so i truly just wanted bolt ons until i find hte goals i want. i enjoy my car stock.

I like your part list but I'd skip the downpipe until you get a bigger turbo the gains are there for the effort from my understanding on the stock turbo.

Also add a drop in filter, Cosworth makes a non oiled one that will grab you a bit more flow / power.

Take a look at the EFR 7163 turbo kit. Same or better spool than the MHI and more power up top. I would suggest running ID1300's so you dont run out of injector if you ever go E85.

I love the evo. I had a leggy gt and 2 wrx's, but by far the evo handles, drives and even is faster stock. My favorite car that ive always owned will be my genwon speed 3.

Congrats on the new platform! I'm sure you're aware, but just make sure you log/monitor whenever you mod. Good luck on the build!

You and me both...
I've been looking at Moore very carefully since they are at a manageable distance (plus I have a friend that lives up there).
Kaizen is a tad too far for me.If you are looking to make the drive all the way to MA, give CBRD a glance as well. Heard and read only good things about them. If the drive was not digustingly long, I would consider going to them. (Anything over 20 minutes away is too long of a drive for me lol)

Congrats on the ride!
