Well guys, i know now, that everybody has problems with ACD pump, which is very expensive part to replace. Somebody have a tuned EVO or RA, and under warranty the stealership isn't replacing it. Even without tuning, they don't.
And the part is really expensive. I live in Europe, and my stealership said, part costs 2,500euros. Repaired part, at rally car service, they say it costs around nine hundred, the part is made out of 3 other parts to make in brand new, and they give a 1 year guarantee.
Well, the big question is - why couldn't we try, to get what we want together. This is a really big thing. Because, the part is mitsubishi's fault, in the way they make the part. If you live in a place, where there is a summer and winter, they needed to take a resposibility of that. Because, i don't drive my RA as it should, i take out of mine maby 1/5
and it still breaks? wtf? So.. as that is being said, we could make them to change these parts, because it their fault for making parts ****ty.
It's for us all, for us, not just for me.

I'm new to this stuff, but i think, if we can't make them to change it for free, then lets make the parts less expensive. [for new parts]. Otherwise, its ridiculous.

Hey man. First of all everything is 10 times more expensive in Europe compared to USA. I know this because my wife is from Finland and I have been there many times and am always shocked. The evo is expensive as well, more than most to maintain. Mitsubishi will never change anything on a dead car. Guaranteed. I like your thoughts but it won't happen.

I would assume it was world wide?

I would show them this and tell them to fix your damn car:

http://www.evoxforums.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=273705

Tell the stealership to look up:

Technical Information Notice
TIN-14-22-001

That should be all you need to do.

Yeah they are not going to do anything about it now that the Evos are done in production. Also, I thought they fixed that problem in the 2014-2015 years...? True or no?

That I don't know, but he has a 2011 so figured it would apply to his car .

I live in a dry climate so not concerned for now about the pump failing, seems to hit people that use it in the snow more often than not.

ok, i hope they will apply my car.
but i read the whole thing, from page one to nine, and only one guy said, that they are doing something like u all did [americans/canadians] in UK.
but what is with europe?
its the most important thing, because, i need some proof before i go to stealership. Otherwise, i will look like an idiot there!

That is a world wide warranty I can't imagine if you just give them the code that they won't honor it. They are a Mitsubishi dealership and should be able to pull up that number in their computer to verify.

Just tell them you researched it, and it should be under a warranty with the following code:

Technical Information Notice
TIN-14-22-001

If they tell you it is not for Europe, you tell them to show you where. Burden of proof is on them, not you. They will get their money from Mitsubishi for the repair.

Good luck, just be nice and firm!

If you dont have any luck with that service bulletin at the dealership, I'd hire a lawyer to put pressure on them. No reason why you shouldn't be included in that if your car has the same part that the american evos have. Call mitsu in Europe and be persistent until someone does something.
