Pulling the Trigger

Hey guys... Been a member here for a long time and learned a lot about Evos 8 & 9 except the Evo X. Been wanting a Evo since it came out in 2003 and now that it's final year is 2016. I've decided that i want to buy one and I've been looking at the Evo X FE. I'm currently station in VA Beach and will be heading to the Rockville Mitsubishi in Maryland since my family lives there. I currently drive an S2000 and looking to upgrade to a 4 door sedan. Anything to look for when buying a Evo from the dealer?? I know that it doesn't come with the Recaro seats in the 2015 editions. anything else?? Is it worth buying a FE over a used Evo? Thanks guys

The FE has a bunch of other add ons that a regular GSR wouldn't. So as long as you don't mind the seats you cant go wrong with the new EVO! You get nicer rims, suspension and some extra aero parts I believe and also knowing you have a limited run of a certain edition. I would go brand new if I had to pick one way or the other.

The FE is awesome. Check it out. If you like what you see, buy it. Don't let them tell you people are paying markups though. Maybe in California, but I am pretty sure no one is paying markups anywhere else and maybe not even there.

I've called them and talked to a sale associate in regards to price and I told them if they want my business I would like the FE invoice price out the door and that I'm in no rush to buy a car. I also states that I know that the Evos aren't selling too well.

Thats what i'm hoping once i show them the check, they will sell the Evo to my price range. Have they fixed the active yaw control in the 2015 evos?? i've read that several individuals were having issues with this.

Ive got a 2011 and never heard of such an issue. There was an issue with the AYC pump which they didn't really fix but they issued a 10 year extension on the warranty for it.

The problem was it rusts away, but they will cover it now so I wouldn't worry about it
