MSRP's

Hi guys, I was wondering what you guys paid for on your FE. The dealer here is asking for 46k.. I just want to know what you guys paid.

I dont own a FE but I just wanted to say PLEASE do not pay anywhere NEAR 46k. Holy Sh*t these dealers think they are selling lykan hypersports or something.

If you are thinking about getting an FE, just wait it out, because the prices will drop guaranteed because no one is gonna pay that much for an evo and dealers will be forced to drop the prices. The FE's are already not doing as well as mitsu projected so just wait it out. I know some people got their FE's for 36k out the door, so you just have to be patient and keep looking.

They dealers act like Mitsu put the recaros back in an evo for one last hoorah, please don't get too excited and pay over 40k just so you don't have to wait. Save that 6-8k for modding the car after you buy it, worth it.

I don't know of a single Evo buyer in my state that paid MSRP, it's insane. These just sit, and sit on dealer lots.

My local dealer has got 3 FE Evo's and I think they were asking around 38-40k'ish for them. Wouldn't pay 46k for a Evo, much as I like them.

I wouldn't even pay msrp. These cars are great but Mitsubishi really screwed everyone this last model year.

I wish I had done some (any) research before buying mine. I didn't pay over MSRP (was $38,800 I think), but I didn't even try to get them to go lower because I assumed the car would sell instantly if I didn't buy it. I was wrong... we got a 2nd one two weeks after I bought mine (in white, the most popular color), and it's been sitting in the showroom since late November.

Had I known what I know now, I probably would have tried to find a new 2014 instead, although I hear those have been marked up a lot since the 2015 line came out (if you can even find one), so who knows. I wish I could have actually afforded an Evo back in 2014, so I wouldn't have had to worry about it lol.

Somewhat off track for the thread, but on track in reply to Hydro's comment:

There's just a couple things that I really don't like about the 2015 models as much.. the seats and side mirrors being the two examples that jump out the most. I found a pair of Recaro front seats, and now I want a rear seat so they match, but I honestly hate the thought of putting used seats in my brand new car.

To make things even worse, I noticed that the 2015 rear head rests aren't even straight, which is killing my OCD. They are slightly lop-sided, and seem to slope down on the driver's side. It's minor, but adding that to an already downgraded seating setup is just adding insult to injury!

Hawaii (Oahu). Sadly, this is the only Mitsubishi dealer on the island.

jayjaydlc,
Absolutely! I bought mine 3 weeks ago for significantly under invoice. Don't let the dealers BS you, there is plenty of supply.

There are 3 FEs at my local Podunk dealer. He was asking sticker(around 39k depending on options). I was about to buy one, but they offered me such a good deal on a '15 GSR sitting on the lot I couldn't justify the FE. I loved the pearl white on the FE, but my blacked out GSR is now faster and still badass since I spent the money I saved on mods at 500 miles.

Am I an ****ole for voiding my warranty before my first oil change?

Let's be honest here, we would all prefer to void our warranty right there on the lot after signing the papers lol, but having it to fall back on is always a nice thing.
