Hey guys, I've been on the lookout for a pair of recaros for my evo (stupid new airbag laws).


And I've seen full sets, front and back, for sale for around 1200-1400, but they're from salvaged evos and usually one of the front seats had a side airbag deploy.


Is that something that can be repaired? I know certain places can re-stitch or re-cover the seats, but how badly does the airbag ruin the side of the seat?


Just curious whether it's worth it to purchase at a discounted price to get a full set of recaros and just have one of the seats repaired.

 

I would try to find some non blown bags you know just incase you actually do get into an accident.
