quick question
So I was on my way to work today and the tarmac light was flashing there were no warning lights on or anything else but it would flash and stop then flash. The only thing I can think of that's different is there was a 50°difference in temp from yesterday to today any help would be great

can you elaborate on what you mean by the "tarmac light"?
Was it the "tarmac" text on the top of the center display? Was it a warning text in the center display? Was it a different light on the cluster? Were there any symbols blinking with it?

Yeah mileage doesn't really matter as much as the conditions in which the car is driven in. I live in dry Arizona with 80k miles on my 2008 Evo X and haven't had any issues with the ACD pump. Don't worry though as those pumps are covered up to 100k miles from Mitsubishi

If you searched the forum then you would have found the answer, I answered the same question from another guy a couple months ago
Anyways its your ACD pump. the fluid is getting low or the pump itself is going out. Open your trunk, look the the right side. pop open the little latch and check the fluid. If its low, take it to the dealer and they will bleed the pump for you and refill it (at charge of course) If the fluid is at correct level, then you have bigger issues. regardless, take it into the stealership and check it out.

Yea checking the fluid is not quite as simple as the guy above said, it kind of changes so although it may look low if you check it after drving let it sit and then come back the next day and it may be back to the full line so be carefull just adding more fluid or you may have a mess on ur hands.

What was the temp? a lot of people have issues when it gets below freezing temps and the fluid gets too thick to flow properly. Does the problem go away after you turn off your car and does it come back immediately or take a while for it to come back?
