Just got back from the dealer to have them look at my gear shifter getting hung up and not snapping back into the neutral position. Im looking at the service paperwork and it says "C1311W - ECM REPROGRAMMING FOR MIL ILLUNMINATESDTC P1241 OR P061A STORED UN ECM"


Anyone have any idea what this means/ have seen something similiar on there service paperwork at some time? Mind you my car hasnt been to the dealer since it left (didnt wanna void that warranty )

 

Probably just a factory ECU update that has a TSB for it. If your car is stock don't worry about it.

 

 

Interesting. Mine is a 2014 GSR. I hope my dealer had faithfully reprogrammed the ECU before delivery.

 

Factory flash update. As long as you weren't running a custom tune beforehand it's all good !
