Hi guys, need some help. My 2011 EVO starts shaking when idle since last night and struggles with low (and dropping rpm).

I checked under the hood and there is a valve not connected to anything and keeps sucking air in and making noise. (See picture) When I sealed it with my finger, the shaking stop.





Please help.

 

Looks like someone tapped that for a boost gauge. I would get a new line or close that tap up. You basically have a boost leak.

 

Looks like you might as well buy a boost gauge and hook it up!

Does anyone know the stock number for that hose?

 

You can just go to autozone and buy some replacement hose. Just show them the tube and they'll get you the right size. Or you can buy a different splicing piece, the one you have is a 3-way, so one side leaks. You could just pull that one out and put in a 2-way piece and connect the tubes without replacing them.
