Thanks for the thoughts Evo bretheren...there is a queue until an adjuster can even call me.
Just got to her today after water went down and it rose above the center console. No electrical response so shorts a plenty for sure.

Just hold your ground with the insurance claim and adjuster, you can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar. Don't take no for an answer and make sure he does not over value the car. If the repairs are more then 50% of what the cars worth its a total loss so watch the value he puts it at.... 15 years ago i had a 2003 Cobra that was stolen and they did some Dukes of Hazzard **** in it and had 15k worth of damage underneath and the adjuster appraised the car @ 50k and was trying not total the car to save them money. Play it smart and you will be fine. GL man and sorry for your loss

Adjuster looked at water line (above center console height) and just flat said "Hey man, I am going to submit this as a total loss for you." Both the best and worst news I could have received.
Now waiting on internal team to send me their initial offer based on actual cash value.
Question time:
If all works out well with the $ (I mean I do already owe less than lowest KBB value) would you buy her on salvage title and rebuild as full racecar in my position!?
