TWM Shifter Cage rattle

Gents,

I've installed a shifter cage about a few months ago with no issues until last week. When I'm in high RPM the shifter rattles like there a loose washer somewhere. I've ripped apart the car twice now and tighten everything with no solution. I cannot pin point where the rattle is coming from.

Any idea's?

TWM seems to be a hard company to get a hold of. Anyone have any contacts there that might be able to assist?

Found it... you are not going to want to hear it.... It is the change in your little tray there in front of the shifter.

You know. I thought of that and took it apart and found a quarter. Thought that resolved my issue. But it didn't. I'll look again.

Have you tried pushing it to the side while in 2nd / 4th (not sure which gear you're in)?

I noticed this on my GSR, and ended up putting zip ties on the lock washers as I noticed there was a decent gap. Once that gap was taunt, the rattle went away.

Resolved the issue. It was the Cable Holders. The came loose from being hand tighten. If you remove the air duct completely, you can then get an allen wrench in there to tighten the cable holders. Now it's as smooth as eggs.

I've install this shifter cage a dozen times. I'm now a pro at it. If you need help. Holla at your boy.
