Question on MAP cmc upgrade

I've been running an exedy stage 2 HD in my car for a little over 10k miles now and i'm not trying to push my luck any further since my car is going to go to the shop why not upgrade now then suffer later. I know i should have upgraded when i had the clutch out but it wasn't an option back then

I wanted to know if i need to add the option to include an aftermarket cmc or will this kit just work with my stock one in the car already.

What comes in the EVO X is a plastic CMC and will not work. The kit is basically an adaptor to be able to use a metal CMC from an EVO IX in the X. So either include it in the kit from MAP (easiest option) or you have the option to buy their kit by itself and then find a EVO IX CMC from someplace else.
Either way, you need an adapter kit and a new EVO IX CMC.
I bought the AMS kit. It was a little pricy, but worked out great.

Personally, I would. The OEM plastic one gives people with stock clutches issues, so its safe to get the upgrade. And sure is hell is better than leaving you stranded somewhere lol

If I were you, I would get the kit with the Evo IX CMC. Yes it is more expensive, but from my own experience of going through 3 aftermarket CMC's in one year before switching to the OEM Evo IX one, I can tell you its cheaper and less painful to get the latter.
