Thanks, me too. This thing is really bumming me out. I hadn't expected on building the drive train so soon. I figured I would at some point, but not at less than 20K miles. I'll probably grab a stage 2 rebuild from Jacks if I can pinpoint the T-Case as the problem. I'm considering a stage 3, but I'm gonna have to find out if it's worth the extra $500.

With all that money, what's another $500? 😛

Precisely why I haven't ruled it out already. But if the extra $500 only gets me shot peened and polished gears then I could get that done where I work for free. Kind of hard to do with them already assembled though.

Why wouldn't you just take it to mitsu if you have a 2014? If the diff is bad, they should fix it under warranty, unless you're modded of course?

But either way, I'm still not convinced this is a tcase problem. Also changing the ACD setting wouldn't affect this as it doesn't change anything except a computer setting that tells it when to engage. It wouldn't engage at non slipping speeds.

Worth noting: what you saw of the fluids is normal. This is why a lot of people change them early. Your next fluid service should be much cleaner.

I'm putting my money on CV, axel, tie rod, or wheel bearing.

Yeah, I've got a turbo upgrade and full bolt ons. I have heard a bit of a squeaking, squeeling sound coming from the front end on occasion.

I swapped out the tires, haven't had any trouble with it lately. I hope it stays that way. I drove it really hard a couple times and it runs great. Just handles like **** with winter tires on it. I gotta get a new set of summer tires. Although, it can still best 95% of the cars on the road even with meaty winter tires. One thing that is nice about these tires is it's really easy to break them loose and drift around corners.

FWIW, Tire Rack has really good deals on Hankooks right now. Like "I want to buy a set and store them" good LOL

So the wheels that had the wobble? What are they? Do you have hub centric rings for them?
