Newbie in serious need of HELP

Hello everyone and sorry in advance if I sound like a blabbering fool since I'm not the most car savvy person. Okay so yesterday I was in the freeway for less than 5 minutes when while on 5th gear going 65mph my throttle stop responding and my rpms started lowering. I panicked and down shifted to 4th and still no response. At times the rpms would "spike" and the car would accelerate but only for 5 seconds. I quickly exited and had no problem going home in speeds below 45mph (and I didn't try to get into 5th gear). I had no CEL pop up while this went down. It is a 2015 with a AEM CAI and a TBE with a Cobb OTS stage 2 on 91 tune. I've had no problems with it for over a year now. I got home and reset the ECU and took it for a ride. I got to 5th just fine and had no problems. But im sure thats temporary and I'm scared to get on the freeway and just want to know what the problem is. I gotten from people that it might be the clutch, tune, and/or even read somewhere it could be MAF sensor. Any input would be much appreciated.
