Attempting to remove A Pillar

I have not tried yet but is it as easy as taking a flat head screw driver and popping it out? Do I need to worry about airbag sensors or anything? I need to remove the a pillar and I'm just looking for someone who already did it.
Thanks

no need for a screw drivers just pull it out but the top portion has "stopper" you need to put your finger in there and detach before you can completely pull the a pillar out.

You just pull it off, start from the top. There is a clip halfway down that doesn't let you pull it out more than about 2 inches. You have to unclip that before you can fully pull it off.

No airbag worries - it is secured to the frame and not the plastic.

This thing is very hard to put back on... Is their a special way to put it on WITHOUT scraping up my dash? Now i got marks from attempting to reinstall it lol. Start from bottom or start from the top clip to put this thing on? I was starting on the bottom and that's how i found it to be difficult and gave up lol. I'll re attempt it when i have more time. Wouldn't mind some advice though.

Start at bottom. Kinda' have to twist it (clockwise) and then rotate down and counterclockwise to set the tab and engage the bottom slots. Before you try again, carefully inspect all tabs & slots for deformation from previous attempts...
