How to clean clutch

Hello all. I bought a used clutch from someone and its kind of dirty. What can I use to clean it off before I get it installed?

I may be way off base, but I'd think brake cleaner since it's the same material as brakes.

On more vote for brake clean. Wear gloves, use a few shop rags/towels, and brake clean the flywheel/pressure plate too when you go to install.

Once clean inspect carefully and maybe post up a pix and so can see if there seems anything amiss before the labor to swap it out, eh?
