100k Evo X Update!

Just hit 100k!

The car is 2010 GSR .

Definitely feel like it's been a reliable car. I did all the recalls and had the ACD pump failure at 70k but it was fixed under warranty.

The car is still stock (including the clutch!), and the only thing I "modded" so far is the shift boot which was peeling. I replaced it with the Redline Nappa Leather boot and it looks awesome.

Under 10 launches, 3 track days of about 3 hours on the road course each day, and daily spirited driving.

I think as long as you maintain these cars and drive properly, they'll last a long time!

------UPDATE-------

Looks like I jinxed myself

Clutch is starting to slip at just over 105,000 miles

Awesome you're running the original clutch. JDZNate is also on the original at 85k. Just goes to show these cars will go the distance when not abused and taken care of.

No rust

And I drive it during the jersey winters. No garage either.

warranty was expired but the dealer said that since it was a known problem, the warranty on just the acd was extended beyond the original warranty.

100k mile on the stock clutch is quite impressive (some noobs toast theirs under 20k haha) I was close but at 80k miles I had to upgrade when I swapped to MHI-18k +E85. My mechanic said my clutch still had good life. Now I'm at 103k miles at 450 whp with ZERO issues. DD everyday of the week its great.

I switched my rotors about 10k miles ago. I didn't mention it as a mod in my original thread because I just replaced them with blank discs like the stock one
