The car has been sitting in my garage for a week without me using it during the time the Bung came off of the intake. The garage has been getting extremely hot so idk if that could've loosened some things or caused a leak. I'll get it checked out and update you guys.
Thanks again for all of you who helped me try to figure this out
Have you checked your BOV? I recently saw someone who found his BOV stuck open on his X

If you take it somewhere, don't go in to boost. You don't want to damage the turbo..

Yes I had a doubt that I might have missed something too.
But I have done all the bolt ons on my car and I've changed the intake a couple of times al ready so I'm not an expert by any means but I'm sure that all the lines going from the intake are secured correctly.

But thanks man, I'm very confused to what happened there. Yea when I drive her she dives completely normal with no boost so its deff something that cracks/pops off under pressure.

Yeap, BOV hose is secured properly. I didn't touch the BOV and haven't since I put the AMS intake the first time about a year ago.
My 3port solenoid is secure as well with all the hoses secured and good to go too.

All the hoses running from the intake, BOV and Boost control solenoid are new so those are all good.
So initially I though maybe some coupler got loose with the heat and maybe was popping off under pressure but that has happened to me before with an UICP (which some hairspray fixed since) plus that one made a huge popping sound under boost, so very noticeable. The second time it happened to my IC one but again once that one popped off there was a very distinguishable sound of air leaking out.
Also, when air was escaping due to coupler the turbo wasn't spitting and hesitating like its doing now, it just lost boost. However these might still be possible and I guess i'll have to open her up and check all my couplers that might have gotten loose due to the heat.

The noise and loss of power the car is making now is similar to having a wrong intake tune (but again I mapped the stock tune and issue persisted) where is just spits and jerks the car a bit making exhaust spit out air kind of like it was in the rev limiter.

Thanks for the assistance man but unfortunately that is not the issue. I did check all the areas around the intake, BOV and 3Port. I have the stock BOV so its recirc all the way as well.

I did not take the BOV off the holder at all, but I'll make sure I check inside of it to check the spring just in case!
And yea man im all sorts of confused. I made an appointment to get her checked out at Mitsubishi until NEXT freaking Wednesday, I know I should go to a performance shop but unfortunately I'm not close by any of them and I don't want to drive the car like this for 3 hrs.

Meanwhile she's going to keep sitting in the garage and I'll have to keep riding the motorcycle in this damnnnnnnnnnnn heat

NO I did not check the fuel regulator hose!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I never thought of it since I only touched the intake, but this is a very promising solution. I cant say if that was the reason and I'll have to check that hose as soon as I get home this afternoon but that would make so much sense
I'll update this afternoon. Thanks man.

^Good call. After buying an X, I thought everyone knew to secure that line and swap out the relays.

Is the fuel hose problem still a thing in '15 evos? I know Mitsu fixed the relay issue from the fatory now, but not sure if the fuel hose coming off is still a problem or not.

Fml guys that fuel regulator was on tight with zip ties.... Wtf! I was so sure that was going to be it. But back to square one..
only thing I've noticed is the coolant hose the on in the back (if you are looking at the engine from the front) is loose and not attached to anything. I looked over the manual but doesn't say if that is normal or not. I also searched the forum but no luck.. Any body can give me a pointer to where that hose is Supposed to go to? Or vent freely?
