I have a 2008 MR in red. gouged my driver's side skirt in the rear due to crappy turning inside a condo garage. where's the cheapest place to get a single replacement that's already painted? preferably in canada. everything i've seen is like $400+ for just one side

 

That seems like a decent price..imo.. The word cheap and oem don't normally go together.. I would just bite the bullet and pay it, if its really bothering you.

 

you could also take the skirt off, sand it down, bondo it, sand it smooth, then have someone repaint it.

Might be cheaper.

^Aftermarket skirts come in primer. It'll need to be painted anyway. Don't bother with the cheap knockoff stuff. It usually turns into more of a headache. Can you snap a pic of the damage? If anything, I'm sure it can be repaired by a decent bodyshop l.

 

i already asked a bodyshop. they recommended to just get a new one as the cost to repair will be around the same price and colour won't match 100%.

 

Sucks its red & sucks you're in Canada. I will be selling my WW side skirts here soon. Good luck though bro.
