Tall drivers, how do you deal? + Aftermarket seats?
I'm tall, and I'm still working into finding the optimal(read: most comfortable) driving position. For any other tall evo x drivers, what have you done?
My seat is all the way back, but have you ever thought about adjusting your pedals? My left knee ends up EXTREMELY close to the wheel. I'm heavily considering an aftermarket seat. I feel like if I could go an extra 2-3" backwards, my legs would have less bend, and I'd be satisfied. Just trying to get some ideas for long term adjustments. Also, never sat in aftermarket seats, so I guess I should hit a car show to try some out. Taking seat advice as well (thinking Braum).
For reference, I'm 6'3, 240 (athletic)

I have real long legs as you probably do. I am about 6'1''
wearing boots and tall shoes will always make leg room worse. If you can try driving barefoot or wearing driving shoes or something with less bulk you will most likely solve the issue modification free. The evo has a lot of room for a car in this size category.

Yeah. If I can keep me my seat in the semi open position past the furthest locked position, there's a tiny bit more give(not sure if I phrased that well, lol)

i have recaro spg xl with planted brackets in mine, kinda sucks. even without sliders the seats are to tall (my oem 2012 wrx seats sit lower) . brackets are drilled as far back as possible and still feel a little close. custom is the way to go for brackets and what i will be doing in the future.
I'm almost 6'5" and I don't have any issues with the factory seats or getting comfortable. We bought the car in Deland, FL, drove it back to Melbourne, FL to finish out our vacation and then drove it all the way back to Bristol, VA. I haven't adjusted the seats since I found that spot that I liked. I'll have to check my position of the seat and post a pic of it so you can see how it is sitting.
