Looks or Performance first?
None that I am aware of. I chose that one specifically because you don't have to oil it. Oiled filters imo are too hard to over / under oil.
If you run your car, and it is stock, you probably feel that stumble around 5-6k when fully on it. That was eliminated when I got the filter and as stated I probably would have been happy with that alone and kept my mpg's. The stumble was annoying me to no end, but since I had already bought the parts <shrug> lol.
Still love my car, but yeah the filter was nice when that is all it had. Butt dyno definitely felt the car responding better and the stumble eliminated.

This is a lesson I learned in the 90s, when Japanese car modding really started to take off.
There will ALWAYS be a faster car than yours. And if you're really just talking about getting faster on public streets, what the heck are you really getting faster for? Ultimately, there is also a limit to how fast you can go. Hell, you could turn your car into a funny car, go straight ONLY and do a quarter mile in under 5 seconds.
On the other hand, you can make a car as pretty (or ugly) as your heart desires.
I'm definitely more of the all show kinda guy.
