I believe headlights are vland. Tail lights are Mars. Fogs were deleted.

Is it somethign as simple as the LED talights not drawing enough current so the BCU thinks there are not working and shuts them off?

Also I have seen a lot of threads about corroded connectors by the drivers side fuse box, but I can't tell if that is for the 8/9 or the X.

Most ive heard of vland or mars led lights issues has to do with incorrect installation or may need to add resistors

From what I have seen, resistors only fix "hyper flash" issues with turn signals. It looks like the corroded connector issue is on the 8/9 from what I can tell. What else could cause this?

Update: I put in normal halogen/incandescent license plate bulbs and from what I can tell the lights do not turn off anymore.

Update #2:
Sometimes when turning my lights on the passenger rear running light and front parking light wouldn't stay on. I would have to cycle the lights a few times to get it to stay on. I wired in (2) 50w 8 ohm resistors to the rear parking "bulb" (it is an LED strip now) and the problem went away. The resistors get pretty warm but not hot enough to be concerning. I wouldn't use less then 16 ohms as they will get really warm.

I'm going to try putting my LED license plate bulbs back in and see if the car doesn't freak out.

Yes, been working fine for several years now, I did try reverting back to my LED license plate lights and that caused the same issue. I haven't tried to add any resistance by those bulbs. I don't care that much. lol

I’m thinking it may be because one of my license plate bulbs is out which causes the passenger tail light to not come on sometimes lol

It could. Any drop in resistance or load can cause the ETACS to not see the correct values and shut the lights down.

Last thing you want is to mess around with some wires, not be able to solve it and later be denied warrenty because of a modification you did.

Seeing as wiring for lights isn't power train, no Evo is still under warranty. Also, be careful on this website or you might learn something and actually work on your own car.

Keyless entry fuse?

Does anyone know which one would be the keyless entry fuse? My remote keyless entry stopped working. Yes, i replaced the battery to it. It's likely a blown fuse, but i don't know which or where the fuse is. Anyone know?! (2006 Mitsubishi Evo iX MR)

started car last week and noticed these doesn't lit up when i turned on headlights.
I checked the owner's manual for a fuse/relay but cannot find one.
checked all the bulbs, and they are good but got no power to wires when probed with a test light. Is there a fuse or relay for it?

this is on a 2015 evo x with 6300 miles

any help or suggestions would greatly appreciated

btw, the reverse, brake, and turn signals all work as they have a fuse for it.
Just take it in for warranty why bother with it.
