Hi guys,
I'm looking for suggestions on an A Pillar Triple Pod 52mm. I am looking for a HIGH QUALITY piece that has the same texture and feel of the OEM A Pillar and has the same color grey as the OEM pillar. I want it to look as stock as possible, aside from the 3 gauges sticking out .

I have sent messages to a few companies that produced A Pillar Triples, but they either do not respond or no longer make A Pillar replacements for the X.

So if any of you guys have suggestions on a company that still makes HIGH QUALITY, OEM-LIKE COLOR AND TEXTURE Triple Pod A Pillars, I'd love to hear it.

There are really no quality pillar pods being made for the X these days.

The DSG pod is the best quality, but they stopped manufacturing them. You're best keeping your eye out for a used one.

 

I cant stress this enough... if you want HIGH HIGH HIGH QUALITY then go with Ortiz Custom Gauge Pods.

What i did was called them and discusses options with them and i hear they have a very very nice A-pillar pod. BUT, i decided that i would take my OEM pillar and ship it out to them to get it customized for the Triple A-Pillar 52mm pods.

So bottom line, i sent my original OEM A-pillar to them and it is 100% fitment on the pillar with all the original clips. Excellent paint and work they did!

 

I'd recommend the opposite. I'll never buy another product from Ortiz again, and that's the general consensus in this community. Good to hear someone had a good experience with him though

 

Maybe it because you and others had actually bought their pods. I used my oem pod and they just modified it.

 

Should it be any different? According to Ortiz, all his pods are made from OEM parts.

Bottom line, he's got notoriously bad customer service, long wait times, and **** quality products when they're finally delivered.

 

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I looked at Ortiz, but I heard some negative reviews and customer complaints, so I'm kind of on the fence about them. If I had the opportunity, I'd buy a DSG, but they don't make them anymore, unfortunately. I can't seem to track down someone who will make a custom, one off piece for me either.

DSG is definitely my first choice, since they seem to be the best overall quality. But our choices these days are getting worse as times goes on. If someone had a used DSG triple they were selling, I'd buy it in an instant.
