Final edition 0-60 4.2 ?

I met this guy at a meet 2 months ago who said he did 0-60 in 4.2 sec with his FE stock
wanted to know how much you guys did ? and whether or not its possible to do it in 4.2 . I know car and driver did it in 4.4 but other than that i can't find any other 0-60 on internet

Did he say how it was timed?

In theory, I guess it could be possible, but that would require literally everything to go 100% right. At the same time, Road & Track got a 2011 Evo X GSR to hit 60 in 4.3 seconds, so it's not that far fetched to think that a 2015 Evo X FE could possibly hit 4.2 seconds with the 27 extra ponies.

I don't think I care what some brotato thinks at a meet when I bought a car made for autocross and not launching lol.

But at the same time, while not the most important, it's a valid metric, even for autocross, unless you begin with a rolling start.

I got my 2014 GSR to get 0-60 in 4.2 seconds. I was running a stage 1 cobb map. But the one if the car is bone stock. I don't know how I did it but I haven't been able to replicate it.

Whoops, you're right. Not sure what voodoo math I was doing. Yes, 12 extra ponies.

I guess if you rubbed a shamrock, lived at the right altitude and drove in slightly cooler weather, you could hit that once.

People normally get high 4's with a lot of practice in the GSR.
