OEM rear O2 sensor WTF!
OEM rear O2 sensor WTF!
I have a 2015 GSR....it has 486 miles on it...... I finally got around to starting a small build.
Long story short....I pull the stock pipes off and go to replace...I couldn't get rear O2 out.....they cross threaded the damn thing from the factory......
And I look it up.....350$....
Is there a cheaper alternative with no compromises for this POS.
Have a look. Look at the threads. And the stripping on the nut. I was cranking on it.

As someone who recently spent two weeks fighting the P2252 code battle - I'd highly recommend using only the OEM Denso unit. Went through two brand new aftermarket types trying to clear the code before I took the advice of Kasey at DynoTime SpeedWorks and purchased the original factory solving the issue.
Should be be cheaper than 350 though - i was able to find one for about a hundred dollars less.

Mine stripped out too. I went and bought a spark plug anti fouler for like $10. Drilled the thru hole to 1/2" forced the o2 sensor into the antifouler. The screwed all of that with anti-seize into the ets test pipe. Never threw a code.
