Anybody know the legality of this? Assuming I have the mileage matched? I have an 08, but I'd like to install the 2010+ cluster to have the switchable turn signal sound as well as be able to view temp and fuel at the same time.

Also I'm in the market for an instrument cluster if anyone has one

 

legality? who cares it's your car do what you want with it. If the car is ever sold just tell the buyer the cluster had been swapped an explain the mileage difference.

Edit: I switched to the alternate turn signal sound. Although it is not a lot louder, it is definitely more distinctive and noticeable.

 

This falls under odometer fraud laws. The law varies from state to state.


For example, here in Florida, if you were to change the cluster it is required that the mileage of the original cluster is annotated either somewhere on the car or the title to reflect what it was prior to the new cluster being installed.
