Need help with the instrument cluster
Didn't see where this would fit in Tech..But I have obtained a dead bug inside the instrument cluster just under the odometer. Are these sealed like on the older cars or can I just take the front off and get it out? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Get a really big hammer...
If it could get in then you can get it out. Look for holes or remove the whole gauge assembly and perhaps try to gently pry off the plastic so that you can just dump it out. You may want to try asking someone who's replaced or sprayed their gauges via PM or something. It seems they're just not seeing the thread.

hey guys whats up,
3 there are two philips screws on your dash, there up underneth, take thoes out
4 take the outside trim piece off, it just snaps in
5 remove the gold 3 screws that hold the gauges in, be careful not to scratch the plastic
6 remove and unplug the gauge cluster *you will have to play with the cluster to get it out, be careful not to scratch anything*
7 the "glass" is snaped in, all you have to do is snap it off, its pretty easy.
8 installation is reverse
i hope this helps, just be careful, but if you blow something or you car catches on fire its not my fault =)
